Situated just South of the Vendee Region, Arcais enjoys around 2500 hours of sunshine per average year.
That's the same as the Western Mediterranean areas like Perpignan:- more than 200 days' worth of unbroken sunshine a year. Instead of flying to the Med or a 2 day car journey, we are just 3-4 hours from St. Malo Ferry terminal or 4 hours or so from Roscoff.
